There is no Magic Cream

There is no Magic Cream
Sunset by the river near my home

I’m sorry but the damage has been done, you wear your whole life on your face and everyone can appreciate the decisions you made for yourself.

There is no magic cream. To take away the late nights, the cigarettes, the anger and stress. There is no magic cream.

When you see yourself in the mirror you don’t see what I see. Nothing will take away your laughter and indulgent days or, the long weekends golden on the banks of spring break.

There is no magic cream for today, the time was yesterday. The magic was sun protection. How were you to know and, why would you stop living your life at such a vibrant velocity. You always knew those were tomorrow‘s problems.

Now you’re here, asking me for a magic cream to erase all your choices you should never regret.
