Full Moon Tonight - Beaver Moon 2025 Super Moon
This is a good time to wrap things up. Think of the projects or transitions you have been experiencing thus far in the fall.
Hi friends, welcome to November! October flew by didn't it? This month we are looking forward to a "Super Moon." This means the moon is closer to earth than usual. The best time to view this full moon is right at moon rise (5:01pm PST,) that's when it will be the closest and largest in the sky. And yes, we also has a super moon for last month's Harvest Moon. If you missed any posts from this month I recommend checking out The Story of Moonbow and also my Nomad Cosmetics Pacific Northwest palette review.
This month's full moon will occur on Wednesday, November 5 at approximately 5:19pm PST.
Okay why Beaver Moon? It's simple but it might not make sense if you're not a fur trapper, which most of us are not these days. Historically this time of year beavers are busy preparing their dams and getting ready for winter, making the easy pray for hunters. In general this is a time when everything starts to slow down in preparation for winter.

This is a good time to wrap things up. Think of the projects or transitions you have been experiencing thus far in the fall. Also consider how our life will change going into winter. Maybe you've been working really hard, focusing on a hobby, or spending a lot of time with someone. This full moon could be a good time to consider what you feel has completed its season and turn focus to how you will care for yourself this winter.

Astrology wise this year's Beaver Moon is in Taurus which, relates to values, resources, and comfort. Think about that, think about the details you might have uncovered about yourself during October. What means the most to you? Health, family, friends, art, poker night? Think about how you can make the most of what you have, our current world is facing a bit of scarcity with the price of essentials getting higher every day, how can you do the most with what you have. Think about your nest, what makes you most comfortable and how will you prepare your home to hold you through the winter?
I hope you enjoyed these fun beaver images I pulled from the internet and I wish you a very happy Beaver Moon. If you have a friend who might enjoy this blog, send them this link.
